The top four reasons are as follows:

4. D. Green's cursing the refs twice to get two technicals and thus getting booted out of the game is not the kind of representative Michigan BCAM voters want as Mr. Basketball. Plus per senior year accomplishment the ultra stacked Saginaw frankly played better with D. Green out of the game, so Green's impact/value to Saginaw's season as Greene's senior season accomplishment basis is now questionable.

3. B. Redford's ppg average is his main selling point however if truth be told Frankenmuth and Redford play in a low quality league with a lot of less than average teams and Redford's gained his ppg stats against opponents who's combined record is 13-23 thus too many bad opponents whereby ultra green lighted Redford's putting up lots of shots in blowout games with pretty average shooting efficiency, or what's called stat padding.

2. Dominique Buckley's 31 point 10-12 assist, beaucoup steals, and lockdown defensive leadership performance knocking off #1 Detroit Pershing, done leading a severely undersized Romulus, shows that Buckley's purist PG game makes everyone on his team better and shows Buckley is the only true top impact performer of the Mr. Basketball candidates, and the only one truly needed by his team to win against top competition, and individualy is responding with the greatest play of any of the Mr. Basketball candidates to date, and likely for the rest of the season.

1. Dominique Buckley plays in the Mighty Mega, now in his fourth year as varsity starter at a solid program. Playing in the Mega guarantees that each game night in and night out will be a real tough opponent and dogfight of a game against other top talent Mega PGs. Thus Buckley will have to play his best each and every night or Romulus will lose. Add in Romulus' overall season schedule is the toughest in the state between the Mega league games and tough teams and all the top ranked teams scheduled for non league games! Thus no off nights to coast and build up meaningless stats in meaningless games, and Buckley's stats gained actually mean something! A 15-20 point game by Buckley vs his schedule is like a 35-45 point game for those playing in lesser leagues or on ultra stacked teams that blow out opponents with far too much other talent to make for a meaningful game. All BCAM voter appreciate the results gained with each night accomplishments done at a higher level of play against higher level opponents in tight games! That's basketball, and that's Mr. Basketball!!
